CMAC Advisory Board
Who We Are
The CMAC Advisory Board, Inc. is an appointed group of parents of the swimmers and water polo players on the Claude Moore Aquatics Club. It is dedicated to the development of aquatic sports through support of the Claude Moore Aquatics Club and operates as a nonprofit nonstock corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia
The Board of Directors
The members of the Board of Directors are Hampton Dowling, President; Terri Shaulis, Treasurer; Kimberley Welter, Secretary; Joanne Foley, Water Polo Team Representative; Carol Wishnow, Swim Team Representative; Lindsey Harvey; Heidi Magnelia; and Joe Skowronksi.
What We Do
The purpose of the CMAC Advisory Board is to:
- Raise charitable contributions to provide financial assistance to the CMAC water polo and swim teams or any of its activities;
- Coordinate volunteer support for CMAC activities or team events;
- Advocate for aquatics sports in the community;
- Provide recommendations and support CMAC Personnel in matters regarding budget, programming and public relations; and
- Assist CMAC with respect to any reasonable request that benefits CMAC.
501(c)(3) status
The CMAC Advisory Board engages in acts or activities for which a nonprofit corporation is permitted by law.
To further our purposes, the Advisory Board is pursuing all necessary state and federal filings to allows us to solicit tax deductible donations. Please check back here for further updates.
